I am not gluten-free, but I have several friends who are (including many who come over for dinner parties), and for several months, I lived with a gluten-free family and cooked weekly. Since I am not gluten-free all the time, I am not comfortable experimenting with gluten-"replacement" recipes and prefer to stick to just making things that are naturally gluten-free. (Same when I need to cook vegan.) I would LOVE a resource of naturally gluten-free recipes, things I already know or have a general idea how to make, but may not have thought of.

A few months ago, I was BAFFLED how to make a dessert that was gluten-free AND vegan, but that required no substitutions. Could do either/or naturally, but couldn't think of much that was both. Then, last week, I made Christmas cookies...and realized my peanut butter fudge recipe is gluten-free, vegan, and delicious! Just need that kind of inspiration in the moment.

tl;dr: Rock on!Brittanynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37886248.post-52164560575902879992012-12-24T06:44:41.672-08:002012-12-24T06:44:41.672-08:00Well, with the pregnancy and new baby, my cooking ...Well, with the pregnancy and new baby, my cooking has been more of the "old favorites" and not "new recipes" for most of the year.
