I've not yet read Dr. Laura's The Proper Care & Feeding of Husbands, mostly because I haven't had a husband since the book was written. I've always liked her book 10 Stupid Things Women Do to Mess Up Their Lives.

Wosnes, she certainly doesn't mince words, and that can be a huge asset for readers of her books. Unfortunately--in the case of her radio show recently--it can also be a huge liability for her.

Tovar, you are welcome. Keep posting your thought-provoking material.

Cynthia, I'm deeply grateful for your kind words and feedback. Rest assured, I'll keep these weekly links posts running!

I followed a vegan diet for a while. While I can't say I felt bad without animal products, I didn't feel really good, either. Once I added animal products back into my diet, I started feeling much better. While my current diet is plant-based, there's some kind of animal food daily.

The involtini di pollo sounds delicious! Trent's list of what being frugal has taught him is thought-provoking. I've observed some of the same things.
