I do live in a more ethnic area (in NJ/NY metro), and have become a believer through my mother that too many spices makes food icky. She's a minimalist and a lover of garlic like I am. :)

Anxiously awaiting part 2.
K.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37886248.post-62353171280275393402008-09-16T08:15:00.000-07:002008-09-16T08:15:00.000-07:00Hi, I usually get my spices bulk, and online, typi...Hi, I usually get my spices bulk, and online, typically they cost about $1.50 an ounce and are fresher than the store bought variety. Whole spices last longer and so much more flavorful. I use spices alot for my spice blog, so Im all about saving money on spices.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37886248.post-88277628801265820202008-09-15T11:48:00.000-07:002008-09-15T11:48:00.000-07:00happy roy, you beat me to my suggestion! You won't find McCormik or Spice Island or other "name brand" spices, but I haven't been able to tell a difference between the quality of the ones I pick up.Williamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00258466142448873844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37886248.post-72924978071201576862008-09-15T08:51:00.000-07:002008-09-15T08:51:00.000-07:00Hi Happy Roy, thanks for your comment.
