Interesting batch of links!

Tao: ouch.

ERE: I've gotten more opiniony lately. Interestingly, my (still vanishingly small) readership has gone UP.

Eggs: we mostly get unwashed organic farm eggs from the farmer's market. We refrigerate them (and wash right before using) because that way they last 2-3 weeks.

Ignorance: being aware of the areas in which I am ignorant is part of my mindfulness practice. I feel I am still entitled to have an *opinion* on matters in which my knowledge is incomplete. :-) But I would not feel free to give *advice* in those matters.

Thank YOU Kalyn for that great recipe. Keep doing what you're doing!

Chacha: Thanks, and yes, I've also found that my readership tends to go up when I get more opiniony too. Or when I take risks and publish things I am afraid to publish. My Marion Nestle Fights Dirty post comes to mind as an object example.

And holy cow on that restaurant review, right? Cru-EL.

I've read only a little about the refrigeration of eggs before, but I think I read once somewhere that once the eggs have been refrigerated, you can't then un-refrigerate them so even if you get un-super washed eggs from a health food store, because they've been refrigerated there, you still must refrigerate them at home!

And that kale lentil soup - whoa. Yum. Totally my kind of meal.
