That guy at 344 Pounds is a true winner. What a lot of work he has put in.

Re: Obscurity: I guess I am an outlier in the blogging world, after 3+ years my average pageviews per day are barely over a dozen but I just don't care. I started the blog for one reason, but over time it's become just a way to practice writing. The more you do something the better you get at it, generally speaking.

Re: homemade granola, yep sounds good. And Expensive. Quaker in a box works for me. :-)

Thanks Chacha. I couldn't agree more. Tyler at 344 Pounds has a knack for blunt truth-telling, and it's made a big difference in the lives of his readers.

And another thing: every so often I have a reader who gets really angry at after I link to something he writes (it happened again yesterday when I tweeted one of his posts). The thing is, after more than five years of blogging, I now recognize that visceral pushback for what it is: it's the sound readers make when they're getting ready to make a change.

It really is! It *is* cuh-razy good pasta! Steve won't let me stop making it. :P Amy (veryculinary) made it, too, and she and her husband both loved it. I love endorsement. :D

And agreed. I love when you link to Tyler. He always has something good to contribute.
