I'm really interested in the post about the ethnicity of chefs. I suppose I've always put more weight on who is eating in the restaurant, rather than who is cooking.

And yes, Monica's post on the ethnicity of chefs was fascinating, and I completely agree with your view: if the people eating are that *cuisine's* ethnic group, that's a much better indicator that the food is not just good, but "true to form." Great insight.

I always get quite distracted wandering through your Friday links, and thought I really should tell you how much I enjoy them. You seem to have a knack for picking a wide array of interesting stuff. I really enjoyed the Paleo Parents site and their dilemma was good for me to read and the mail order bride story was interesting.
