Great links this week. Peter's quail is simply mouthwatering. And hey, who can argue with brownies?

I have to ask, though... is anyone else a bit disappointed in the direction Eating Well has gone lately? Seems they're moving so far into the mainstream nutritional realm that they've lost their real edge.

Excellent, I'm glad to hear it. Thank to both of you for the feedback!

And Lo, I'm not really sure about Eating Well. I don't read it that often and don't have a sense of their quality or content. Does anybody else have a read on this?

Thanks for the eCookbook! Printing it right now.

And you already know I loved that other link. ;)

Thanks Melissa, any time. Jules over at stonesoup is putting out some amazing content lately, and I'm just doing my part here at CK to help her get a little more exposure. In my view, she's what food blogging is all about.

And for other readers, "that other link" Melissa is referring to is the "You are worthless. Let's be friends" post from Fugitivus.net. I've gotten positive feedback from several readers on that post--it's really resonating with people.
